What BonquosGhost wrote above is total malarkey. The comment, in this Reddit thread, is punctuated so that technically, yes, it is, in the very narrowest sense, literally true. But it was still written in order to deceive.
In plain English, the Amherst Massachusetts Police Department never issued any such statement.
Think about someone who would do this. Think about someone who even could do this, who would think this way. Think about why it would be done. And then think about why someone like this would spend so much time on Reddit. And who knows where else?
Once again, when it comes to talking about the notion that Maura Murray hit Petrit Vasi, there is intense pushback.
And this is just one example.
The fact that BonquosGhost - such a name, haha - sometimes comes, more or less, to my defense, in this thread and others, does not excuse the effort to deceive as shown above.
B Ghost here haha....I have come to your defense before, as you are one who has been the eyes and ears in the UMass/Amherst/Hadley area, and who has commented on the case for MUCH longer than I have even dared....When you stated..."What BonquosGhost wrote above is total malarkey"...I agree WITH you....The difference here that seems lost on you (which I find odd because you have shown to have great intellectual skills),is that I was "mirroring" what the Amherst PD released as a statement in their official report on Vasi that Renner received from FOIA. Although they never closed this case, THEY concluded that paint chips did not match the Saturn. Let's be clear, this is "THEIR" stance on this, and not mine, as I have no hidden directive to follow along with what Amherst PD's opinions are, and have no affiliation with them period....It was NOT written by me here to deceive, it was written so that any reader could determine for themselves if it was true or not. Repeat, it was "THEIR stance, THEY had, THEIR statement". None of that infers anything on MY opinion on it. In fact, I believe their "statement" was malarkey also....You are correct, there is intense pushback on Vasi's hit and run since day 1, and I agree it was 100% swept under the rug. You are certainly free to express your views about myself, however inaccurate they may be.....this was just a rebuttal.
ReplyDeletehi mr alden this is a great blog. i saw it on twitter. my name is claire and im from westwood mass (small town close to 128). i have been reading about maura for 3 months after watching the show online. i was real surprised when i looked online after how much the show didnt talk about and there is so much information its hard to take in. i am now reading about this accident possibility and it does seem like something that would make perfect sense for leaving,,well thats of course if it was her who did it. what do you think about the paint chips not matching? and what about her phone records? the stuff james renner posted plus the report and police got to the scene at 12:19 but said the accident happened around 12:11? mauras phone records that the private investigator that helps the family had gotten and put online show maura was on the phone with billy during that time right? the phone bill is hard for me to read even with my reading glasses. what about her work companions saying they saw her crying and reported it to a supervisor but nothing was said about her leaving the desk why would she take a brake a hour before she was done with work? brakes are usually around halfway between start to finish and wouldnt she need someone to cover her post if she was on brake so someone like the police must know when she took her brake when they looked into it? sorry for all the questions u just seem to know a lot and i respect ur opinion. i see that u are from mass too thats really cool. i hope u have a good weekend
